Deferred DWIs?

THE LAW OFFICE OF BRADFORD J. GLENDENING

House Bill 3582, which takes effect September 1, 2019, allows deferred adjudication for certain first-time DWI offenders. Further, this bill allows for an order of non-disclsosure upon successfully completing a term of probation. This is a law that’s been 20 years in the making, which means that you may be able to avoid a conviction for a DWI offense – something that has been nearly impossible in Texas.
